The frame is constructed using pine, and veneered with curly maple, burled maple, and rosewood.

The panel is construced using pine and poplar, veneered with rosewood, burled maple, and the painting surface, mahogany.

As is my habit, as much of the wood as possible is from salvage. The veneers are from my permanent stock of vintage veneers. All wood surfaces except the painting itself, are finished with orange shellac, using the French Polishing method.
