The Wittig Report - on the Interface Between Life and Art

-------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the Wittig Report...

On the one hand there is 'Art,' and on the other hand, there is 'Life,'

...and somewhere in the middle, they meet.

March was a little slow as well, but I do not have any convenient
excuses for my lapse, except extreme laziness. Heh.

I did produce a paltry 10 paintings, in ink and watercolour, however,
plus two more chapters in the novel 'Descent', and one short art-related
essay, so the month was not a total waste.

It looks like spring has finally sprung here in Chicago... Yikes!

'Painters and Poets'

"A couple weeks ago, an individual on one of the email lists
I frequent said something like:

'I am a poet, and believe true poetry comes from the soul'.

This made me wonder about a few things..."
