The Wittig Report - on the interface between Life and Art

Welcome to the Wittig Report.

On the one hand there is 'Art,' and on the other hand, there is 'Life,'

...and somewhere in the middle, they meet.

April was possibly the busiest month of my life, as I began exploring the realm of Digital Painting, while at the same time, did not diminish my work at the easel. I ended the month having far more work in progress, than I had completely finished, and still had more than enough for this newsletter. If some of the digital work looks like it was done by a beginner... it was! Digital art demands an entirely new set of skills, none of which I have mastered... yet.

Chance favours the prepared mind.

The Self-Representing Artist, and eBay - A Distinct Possibility

"I believe that eBay will do more to shape the future of the fine visual arts, than the gallery and museum scenes will do, in the years in front of us. The electronic marketplace, of which eBay is a premiere member, has the capacity to connect more of humanity to more of the producing artists, than the gallery scene ever could, or ever wanted to."
